Taste of BethesdaBethesda’s famous “Taste of Bethesda” food and music festival brings 50 restaurants and four stages of live entertainment to Bethesda’s Woodmont Triangle. Each year, more than 40,000 attendees sample offerings from the diverse restaurants, enjoy the live entertainment and visit the booths demonstrating all that Bethesda, Maryland has to offer. The festival offers an excellent opportunity to sample food from all of the great restaurants in downtown Bethesda. The event is also kid friendly with activities such as cookie decorating, face painting and giveaways.
During the Taste of Bethesda the streets in the Woodmont Triangle area in downtown Bethesda are closed off from traffic and you can walk to all of the different vendor booths. The event is free to attend but you will need to buy tickets that are then traded in for tastes of food. Each taste will range from one to four tickets. Taste tickets are sold on-site in bundles of four tickets for $5. The Taste of Bethesda is held in conjunction with Best of Bethesda Day, which includes Come Back to Bethesda, a car-show and family day fundraiser benefiting the Children's Inn at NIH.
The Taste of Bethesda is located along Norfolk, Fairmont, St. Elmo, Cordell, Del Ray Avenues in Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle. Free parking is available in downtown Bethesda's public parking garages and lots. Taste of Bethesda is located three blocks from the Bethesda Metro Center.
